My Birthday Dinner

Saturday before my birthday my we all went to church and then my parent took us to dinner. It was so nice to spend time with my family and celebrate this very special occasion. We had great food and then came home and opened presents. Thanks mom, dad and Stephen for coming here and making my birthday special. I love you guys.

Jakes School Christmas party

On Friday Dec. 18 Jake had a half day of school and that was his day for there Christmas party and crazy hair day. For crazy hair day we tried to make his hair look like a Christmas tree as best as we could. I think we did good. What do you think? My mom, dad and my brother were able to come to visit us to celebrate my birthday, an early Christmas and make it to Jake school Christmas party. It was so special for Jake to have them all here for his party. At the party they made gingerbread houses. Dad help Haven make her own and Stephen helped Jake make his and Jake and Stephen also eat lot of candy while in the making. Stephen liked to share his candy with Haven as well, and she loved it.He loved every minute of there time here. He really enjoys being around my brother. They have such a special bond. Here are a few pictures of his party.

Last week Haven and I were going though some of my friends old thing. As the sayings go "one persons trash the other person treasures". Haven found some old glasses and loved them. I think she would look cute if she ever needed them. Here is a pictures I took of her playing with them. They were the cool toy for about 2 days now she is on to something else. Thanks D they turned out to be a treasure for Haven.

Getting ready for Christmas

It was past time to get out our Christmas tree this year. I feel like I am doing everything late. Last week on Tuesday we put up our Christmas tree and on Thursday and Friday we got out the decorations for the tree. Both kids really enjoyed getting everything out and looking at what all we had. Jake remembers all of the old ornaments and Haven just had fun looking at them ALL. Jake was the one who put them on the tree and Haven just took them off. It was so much fun watching them do it together. I will say that Jake is a wonderful big brother for putting up with Haven during the whole process. I will post a picture of the finished tree sometime later I think.
One funny thing that Haven is doing now if every time that she sees a Christmas tree she will wave at it and say HI. She does this to the tree in her room at least 3 times a day and the main tree at least 7 times a day. It is just to cute. I am so excited to see how Haven is going to be this Christmas. I think that she is just going to love it it.

Thanksgiving in Horseshoe Bay Texas

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!
We had such a great Thanksgiving this year. My dad took us to Horseshoe Bay not only for Thanksgiving but also for my wonderful mother's ? Birthday. I put in the question mark because I am not sure if she wants me to share with everyone her age. HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!!! We had a wonderful time seeing friends and family.

The kids on the airplane on the way to Texas. This was an easy plane ride. I wish that I could say the same for the flight home. Haven was not having it that night.

Eating dinner after we got to Texas. Haven loved eating the corn on the cob but realized it is easier if I just cut it off for her.

The boys played 18 hole of putt putt golf and Haven and I watch.

Mima and Papa got these Texas Longhorn clothes for the kids to watch the Texas game in. Don't they look so cute. I think they would make great little Longhorns that is if they do not go to ACU.

So I dressed the kids up all nice to take lictures of them together for our Christmas card. Jake did great! He was listening so well. Haven on the other hand did not want to stand still. So all the pictures of her are action shots. I did not get one of them together that I just loved. But these of them did turn out cute.

The resot tthat we stayed in had a family fun day with lot of games food, face painting and more. Jake had a great time playing all of the game getting his face painted, holding a parrot, and making s'mores. This picture is of him playing a game.

Haven and Papa hangout watching everything going on.

The last night we were there we went to a walk through Christmas light. Jake and Haven loved them. Haven waved at eveything that we walked by and still waves at every Christmas tree she sees even our own.

Thank you so much for the wonderful trip to Horseshoe Bay. We had a great time. Lets do it again sometime.
