Just Hanging out

The past week we have been doing a lot of hanging out playing with the new toys from their birthdays. Here are a few pictures so you can see how much fun the kids are having with their things and each other.

This is a picture of us on Havens birthday after we gave her the scooter. She was so excited.

This is Haven last week when I let her get dressed all by herself. She is so funny on how picky she is about her clothes and even more picky about her shoes. I think that I am in trouble because this girl loves shoes. If she can not decide on what shoe to wear she puts one pair on and takes another pair with her. I don't let her do it that often, only on the days I let her pick out her clothes. She makes me laugh. Take a look at her hair. She wanted to wear the headband but would not let me put a bow on it

Everyday last week we walked to school and on Tuesday I let Haven take her stroller. That was a mistake. I ended up pushing both things and holding Haven on the way home. The rest of the week I put Haven in Jake's 360 and I stood on the back. Now that was fun. I think she got scared when we would go to fast and spin because then she would want to walk. Jake is really enjoying this new ride.

Jake got this rocket and it is super cool. We have taken it to our church group on Sunday nights for the kids to do and we took it to Regan's company picnic and all the kids loved it.

Happy 7th Birthday Jake!!!!

Jake and his freind Seth had the coolest Birthday Party! Regan and Brian made marshmellow guns for all the boys and Julie had shirts made that said "I survived the great marshmellow war 2010." We made the boys feel like they were in the Army. They had to do drills running through tires, pushups, sit ups, etc. Then after all the "hard work" they got to go crazy with the Marshmellos guns. Everyone had a blast! We are so proud of our big 7 year old. He is such a great big brother and friend to everyone. Keep up the good work buddy!
Gun Assembly..
Jake and Seth, the Birthday Boys.
Chubby Bunny, this was HILARIOUS!
More Chubby Bunny. I think they got to about 20 small marshmellows in their mouth and then they started gagging.
Ready, Aim, Fire. Practicing before the war.
Regan had to hide in here for protection from the 17, 6-7 yr olds.
Some of the survivors.
Presents!!!
This bike is fun! Highly recommended for other kids this age.

Haven's is 2!!!

I can't believe how fast theses kiddos grow up. Haven turning two today just doesn't seem possible. I may have a biased opinion but I think she just might be the most precious two year old out there! We are so thankful that she is a healthy kiddo that just loves to laugh. She loves playing with her big brother, loves being rocked by mommy and loves her daddy chasing her around the house.

Birthday party. We had Haven's party on Saturday afternoon with just a few friends. We bought a "commercial" bubble machine, that the kids LOVED. We kept it simple, ordered pizza and had cupcakes. Haven has had so much fun with all her new toys. (some pictures below)

Enjoy the pictures below and pray that we never hit the TERRIBLE twos! (She has her moments already but I know they can be worse.)

Happy Birthday Seth (Jake's Best Friend)

Jake's Best Friend Seth's 7th Birthday was on Good Friday. Julie (Seth's mom) and I took the kids to the zoo for the day. They had a great time. I do not think that I have been to the zoo in 2 years. So that would mean that Haven has never been. They both really enjoyed it.

Jake and Seth

Haven and Amaya (Seth's little sister)

This bag of popcorn was almost as big as Seth. I would not let Jake hold it until it was at least half way empty because I did not want him to be the one to drop it.

Our fun in March

Here are just a couple of pictures from March. Not including Easter.
This is a picture of Haven in her brothers new sunglasses and her new apron. Regan's aunt Ann and Uncle Ron came into town from Texas and brought the kids all sorts of fun things. Haven and Jake were so excited when they got them. Haven had to put her apron on and wear it all day, for a few days, because she loves the pockets that it has. She is always watching me put things in my pockets and loves to copy me. (Unfortunately, her pockets have always been her diaper.) Thank you for the apron with pockets.

Regan, Jake and Grandpa went fishing on Sunday and this is what Jake got. He even touched this one. That is a big step for this dude. Great job Jake!

This much be Jake on his way fishing. What a stud he is. I just love him so much!

Having fun taking some pictures. I think these 2 kids are just amazing.

The Hicks wedding

Our two beautiful children were honored to be in the wedding of Jason and Daris Hicks on March 20th. The wedding was on the mountain side at a beautiful place called Sassi. Haven and Jake did such a wonderful job walking down the aisle together. I could not have been more proud. They looked amazing and both behaved themselves all night. Haven fell asleep at the reception around 10 and we all went home. What a fun night we had. Congrats to Jason and Daris Hicks!
