Jake's First Football Game. 2010

Last night Jake had his first flag football game. His team is called Crush, he is number 23 and our colors are burn Orange. Jake has been playing so much better then he did last year. The 2nd touchdown in the game was run by Mr. Jake Gradke #23. He was so proud and we were too. Great job buddy!!!

California Part 2

While in CA we tried to get a family photo for a Christmas card. As most of you know how hard it is to get one, well trying to get one with 16 people is even harder. Here is a pictures of the kids and parents. I think this is the best one and maybe the only one of those. I think that some people just started to act crazy after a while. Jake and his jumping off the wall and Regan doing a handstand. Those are 2 crazy boys.

California Part1

This summer we took a family trip to California. The whole Gradke family went. There was 16 of us. We all had so much fun hanging out together and spending lots of time on the beach. Here are some pictures of The day we got there and the next day everyone else came. More pictures to come of this trip.

When I grow up

Jake had a dentist appointment on Thursday Sept. 16 after school. We were getting our teeth cleaned at the same time and this is the conversation I am listening to.
Dentist (Brad) Jake what do you want to be when you grow up?
Jake- A singer and a dentist. A Sentist You get it?
Dentist- Or a Dinger!
I just started laughing in the middle of my cleaning.
I love that kid!

Bobbi Grace Gradke

Haven gave herself a new name this summer while we were in Texas. Haven was asked what her name was by Mima and Papa and her answer was "Bobbi". After that, all summer she was known as Bobbi. Now, when you ask her what her name is she will tell you Haven. It was so cute when she said Bobbi, I kind of miss it. But I am very proud of her for knowing her right name. This is a video of her telling us her name is "Bobbi"

Texas Reunion- Grandmothers Funeral

The kids and I spent another week in Paris Texas this summer for my Grandmothers Funeral. It was such an emotional week but at the same time it was so nice to be with the whole family for that lenght of time. We did so many fun things while we were there: swimming, going to movies and lots of visits with Granddaddy and Grandmother before she passed away was wonderful. I am so thankful for the time that the kids and I spent in Texas 2 weeks before this week and for the time I spent with her while she was in a coma and that I was able to say good bye. She was such a wonderful person and she will be missed. I am so thankful that I will see her again one day in heaven.
