Caitlin and Brandon are Engaged!!

Congratulations Caitlin and Brandon!!!!!!

I am so excited for our close friends Caitlin Hicks and Brandon Farr. Last night Oct. 30 at 7:23 Brandon Farr Proposed to Caitlin Hicks. It was just so amazing to be able to be a part of that special day for them. They are two of the most wonderful people you could ever meet. They are just perfect together. We are so excited for you guys and wish you all the best.
Here are 2 pictures of what Mandy and I got to do to be a part of this. Brandon gave us the best job in the world. We got to be creepers and sneak in to the Hicks backyard and place candles and rose peddles everywhere. It look just beautiful. Just like the bachelor. I do not have any good pictures of it but I am sure Jason, Caitlins brother got great ones. So after we got the yard ready we were able to hide behind a tree in the yard and watch the whole thing. AWESOME!!!

Weekend before Halloween

So for the past 2 weeks someone in our house has been sick. Last Tuesday Jake got Strep throat and then on Wednesday Haven got an ear infection plus cold maybe strep. So My mom and dad had planed on coming out here to have a great weekend watching Jake's football game celebrating my dads birthday and going up north to a pumpkin patch. Well, thing changed. I called mom to see if they could come out early and help me out with the kids. So they did. They came out Wednesday night and stayed till Sunday. Thanks you mom and dad for taking the time to come and help me out. Think goodness they did because I ended up getting sick on Thursday and was in bed for 2 days. So my parents were such a huge help. Thank you God for giving me such wonderful parents. So Friday night we did end up going to Jake's game and he played great. We also were still able to have a little party for dad after the game with some takeout and a ice cream cake.HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD!!!! On Saturday we did end up going to a pumpkin patch just not up north. We still had a great time while they were here. Here are some pictures of our crazy but fun weekend. Now if I could only get myself better for this weekend it would be great.
We have so much going on this weekend. Our great friends are flying into town Thursday and will be here for all the Halloween fun. Caitlin and Brandon we are so excited to see you guys.

October fun!

Here are a few pictures of the things we did in October.
I will try and tell a little about the pictures but the blog is doing something funny so I hope it works. This first picture is Haven and her new thing to do in the tub. She loves to lay down and just hang out. The next picture is of Jake at Build-A-Bear. Jake had a half day a couple of weeks ago and I took him to do some special things, just him, me and Regan came to some of it. We went to a big train park out here and Regan got to come for about and hour. After that I took him to the mall and we went to Build-A-Bear. He had so much fun. It was so special to me to have that one on one time with him. We had a great time. Thank you PJ for watching Haven. The two pictures of the kids in red are when we were hanging out before Jake's football game. I just thought that these pictures were cute. The picture of Regan and Haven laying in her bed is sweet to me. They got in and Haven wanted Regan to read her a book. After the book she just wanted to lay with him and on him. She is so sweet.
The last couple of pictures are from our Church's fall party. They had so many things for the kids to do. Haven loved all the animals (which she called all of them dogs) and Jake really seemed to enjoy the bounce houses.
Well, that has been our October so far. I will post again soon. We have had so much going on this past week that I need to write about and of course there is Halloween coming up this weekend. Till then, Hope everyone is doing well.

I LOVE MY LIFE!!!!!
Here is my life and what I live for. My 2 amazing children. And my loving husband. God has truly blessed my life with these 3 amazing people.

21st Neighborhood Club

21st. Neighborhood Club has started. This club is held every Friday after school in our front yard. All the kids from our cul-de-sac come out and play everyday after school but Fridays are the day that all the kids are around. So they have started this club. So cute. They sign in and hangout under our front tree. I love that the kids do this and spend time together. It brings back so many memories of when I was growing up. Just being outside playing with friends. These days kids are to busy inside playing video game or watching TV. The kids on our cul-de-sac are great and they all play with each other even though they rang from the ages of 14 years old to 18 months. I am also every happy that the kids like to play at our house. That helps me get to know each kid and everything that is going on around us. I have always wanted our house to be the house that the kids want to play at. I would always tell Regan that we need to be the fun house and have cool things so the kids want to play here. Well, I was wrong about that theory. You do not need to have cool and expensive things for your kids and there friends to want to hang out at your house. All we have is a big tree, paper, a pin and tape and all the kids are still hanging out over here. Jake's friends from school that do not live by us call Jake's house to cool house. God is so good. We are so blessed that we are able to live were we are and have great friends and family's around us.
