Valentines Weekend

Here is how the Gradke family Valentines weekend went. Jake had his first basketball practice on Friday night. He did great and could not wait to have his first game on Saturday. We get home from practice and this is what I did to the garage door. At this point I was scared to be at home by myself and also to call Regan and tell him what I did (He was out of town but did not get mad). On Saturday we had Jake's game, he got 2 baskets and they won the game. He was so pround and so was I. He played really good and seemed to be having a great time. Saturday night Regan's parents and aunt and uncle took me and the kids out for Valentines day dinner so we would not be alone. It was great to get out of the house and have a nice dinner. The kids were great. He are some pictures of our weekend.

My Baby is 10 months today

Haven is 10 Months Old. Wow how fast time goes. I can't believe how big she is getting. Haven took her first step on Feb. 12 but will not doing it again. I really am not ready for her to be walking so I am okay with that. Haven loves to put things in her mouth. She likes to have her hands free and somehow hang onto the toy. So she puts it in her mouth. She has such a great personality. Haven is fun loving and even likes to cuddle on her time. She loves being with her brother at all times. He really seems to get her laughing. Here are just a few pictures of the things that Haven is doing. Haven has really been a blessing to our lives.

Happy New Year's - San Carlos, Mexico

We spent a week in San Carlos, Mexico at Grandpa & PJ's house for the New Year. The weather was awesome and we all had a blast. The trip back across the border was a NIGHTMARE, it took eight hours to go 6 miles. Every mexican family that lives in the states were trying to get their kids home for school on Monday just like us. Well, enjoy some pics of the kids and family at the beach.

The next 2 pictures is how we spent part of the 8 hours at the border. No car seats for the kids and no restrooms for the adults...don't ask.

Time-Saving Picture posting solution

Here is the tip I found online:
"May have found an easier way--just turn on email on your blog and send all pics via email to your custom address. (Under Settings)
Just make sure that you turn on the function that takes emails and posts them as drafts to avoid live works-in-progress!"

Natalie-Surprise. Easy picture posting solution discovered.

Good Morning Natalie. This is your smart husband(no smart-arse remarks will be kept under the comments section, so don't try Heather) and I figured out a SUPER SHORT-CUT for adding multiple pictures at one time. It is a good thing I am unemployed and have time to research the blogger world, which is a little scary to be honest, for time-svaings tips for my wife.

For everyone else, I think some of these pictures are already on here but they were some of my favorites as I was trying out my new trick. I can sell my secret for movie tickets, a round of golf, a job, trip to Hawaii, etc. for any other "bloggers" out there that share this frustration.

Haven sitting in her chair. It is soooo cute.

Haven and Daddy at Christmas

Check out that bottom lip.

Haven woke up to see the fish.

Jake and Daddy looking for dry land. Get us out of the swamp.

My family about to be mauled by a giant tiger and they don't even know it.

Jake the scuba diver. I am pretty sure this would scare him to death if we told him to get in a suit and get in the ocean.

Jake using the cheater chair. He loved it.

Reminds me of Ronald McDonald.

These are pictures from Christmas morning. Jake and Regan both got Wii sleep wear and Haven got this cute hat. Jake also got an I-dog that he has been wanting forever. Santa was good this year. I am almost done with Christmas so I will be updated soon. My baby has changed so much from all of these pictures and will be posting updated ones shortly. Sorry it has taken me so long to get here.

We thank God everyday for our two beautiful children. Just wanted to post this cute picture. We are so blessed.

Another fun thing that we did on our Texas trip was the whole family (Me, Regan, Jake, Mima, and Papa) went ice skating. We all had a great time. It was really fun to see my dad get out there. Haven just enjoyed watching everything going on around her.

While we were in Texas Mima, Regan and I took the kids to the Houston aquarium. Jake had a great time. I guess I can say we all did.

We went to my parents house for our Christmas vacation. This is a pictures of me with my two beautiful kids on my Birthday. Jake and Mima made me a wonderful cake. To bad I was to sick to eat it. Lets just say after this picture I was in bed or the bathroom for the rest of the night. We did have a wonderful time on that day. My parents took the family to a Texas longhorn basketball game and then to eat dinner at Tommy Bahamas, one of my favorite places to eat. All the pictures from that are on my moms camera. I had a really nice birthday this year. Thanks Mom and Dad.

Some friends of our had a Christmas party and Mr. and Mrs Clause came and brought gifts to all the kids. Everyone had such a great time. Jake really thought it was cool to be able to tell Santa what he want. I think he had fun with it this year. Haven did not like it when she sat on Santa's lap without Jake. So we just put them together and this is the kind of picture we got.
