Jake had his first day of second grade on Monday, August 16th. His teacher is Mrs. Williamson and he loves her. He came home from school and said he had a fantastic day.

I put this picture in so that you could see how long Jake let his hair get. He asked if we would not cut it all summer and I said ok. So about a week ago before we took our last trip to CA we made him get it cut so it would be ready for school. After his cut he kept asking us to feel the back of his head because he thought that it was so soft. He likes it much better short than long.

Jake looks like such a grown up boy! So precious! I definitely like the hair shorter...it looks great! Haven's hair is growing so much too! Miss you guys!
They sure do grow up too fast. Goodness. Glad he had a good first week of school! He has got to be the cutest kid in his class, by far! :)
So...Your kiddos are absolutely darling!!!!!!! How much fun you must be having with them. Total cuties!!! LOVED seeing you at CCV last week. We will be back tonight for dinner and church..MMM! And yes! We need to plan a double-date night soon!!!...or a family fun night! Lots of love, Mike, Jackie, Brody, and Baby D#2. :)
