Decorating for Christmas and Thanksgiving

This year we have had so much fun decorating for Christmas as a family. Both kids really enjoyed decorating the tree and Regan and I have loved putting up all the Christmas lights outside. Regan is now finishing up on one of the other decorations that we are going to put in the yard. More pictures to come when it is all done. Here are just a few pictures of us getting ready for Christmas. The funny thing is we have no idea what we are going to be doing or where we are going to be for Christmas.

Regan and Jake up on the ruff putting up the Christmas light. Jake thought it was so cool that dad let him get on top of the house. I thought it was dangerous. But who really listens to me.

Haven having some fun decorating the Christmas tree. She just likes to be silly

They finally got the star on the top of the tree.

Here they are trying
This year we had a nice and quiet Thanksgiving at Regan's parents house here in AZ. Paula did a great just on the food we all ate to much and we even had left overs. We spent the night with them one of the night and the kids really loved doing that. I did not take that many pictures but here are the few that I have.
Paula and Haven playing on PJ's Ipad. Both kids love to play on them

Jake was able to teach himself how to play a song on the key board. It was really amazing. Now only if I could remember what song it was.

Thank you PJ and Grandpa for a wonderful family Thanksgiving. We had a great time.

Regan's Halloween Party for work

I forgot to post pictures from Regan's work party. Last year Haven and I did not go and Regan did not dress up. All the years I have known Regan he has never dressed up for Halloween. His work has a costume contest every year and Regan decided to give it a try. He dressed up as Chubaka from Star Wars. He did get 2nd place!

This is Regan

These are all the people that dressed up at his work.

Haven and I decided that we should join the party this year but we did not dress up. Haven had a great time running around the office.

Halloween 2010

The kids had a great Halloween this year. Haven never really knew what she wanted to be but for each party she was something different. Jake had his jacket with the scary face on the hood that he was going to be and Regan ended up painting his face so he never zipped up the mask part of his jacket. On Halloween night our Church neighborhood group got together at our house and had snacks and played "How to Train Your Dragon" on our garage door. That way we could meet our neighbors and the kids could watch a movie. People would come and go and some just wanted to stay. It was a great night. Before we took our kids trick-or-treating Haven fell and cut her toe pretty good. So she was being held by me and or in her stroller all night. She still had a great time. Here are some pictures from the whole week and Halloween night.

At this party Haven was Snow White. Jake just went to have fun with us and brought his Lego gun that he made.

For this party Haven was a Phoenix Suns Cheerleader. She sure did look cute. Jake did wear his jacket that night but my battery died on the camera right after I took this picture.

The rest of the pictures are of Halloween night. Jake and his painted face and Haven was Ariel.

The family.

Jake and 2 of his closest friends Trevor and Seth. This was the end of the night and the kids were going crazy in our cul-de-sac.

Mima and Papa came to visit

Mom and Dad came to visit the weekend of Halloween. Mom got a chance to see Jake play football and we took the kids to the pumpkin patch.
Thanks for coming out to spend time with the family. The kids really enjoyed having yall here. Love you guys!

Happy Birthday Papa

Dad came to visit us a couple of weekend ago to see Jake play football. It was the weekend before his Birthday so got to celebrate. The kids made this picture frame for him and recorded I love you Papa on it as well. He loved it! The kids really loved recording themselves and then listening to it over and over again.
